Since The Greenery has multiple spaces spread across its grounds, couples can host different aspects of their event all in one location: A private covered cocktail porch provides an ideal place to host a cocktail hour following a ceremony in The Greenery’s open fields, apple orchards, or even a beautiful forest. Couples can choose to have their reception in an outdoor tent or inside the venue. With an indoor guest count of 250, and an outdoor guest count of up to 500 when using the tent site, The Greenery prides itself on privacy and exclusivity as only one event is held per weekend, no exceptions.
When booking The Greenery, you’ll have full access to McKenzie's Farm, which means the photo opportunities are endless—from peach orchards to raspberry groves, or perhaps the dahlia garden or the corn maze. Looking for the ultimate farm-to-table vibe? The Greenery works with caterers to create customized menus for their clients featuring produce grown right on the farm.
While a full-scope wedding designer/planner is required to book the space, The Greenery allows clients to choose their own vendor team to ensure their event is unique to them, meaning that no two events are the same.

Purchased by a mother-daughter team in 2018, the space has since undergone a complete floor-to-ceiling renovation and still bears its historic integrity and charm with soaring exposed ceilings and stunning refinished floors. While Olio is a large capacity space, it is perfect for events of all sizes. There is no guest count minimum so clients have the flexibility to host an intimate celebration for 25 people or a large bash for 400+ guests. The Quaint Outdoors: Salted Root Farm
Set among 10+ acres of beautiful pastures and natural woodlands (and home to a variety of adorable farm animals) Salted Root Farm a hidden gem located in Marshfield, MA, just south of Boston. Salted Root Farm accommodates events of all sizes and styles—from intimate elopements in front of the rustic barn to romantic dinner parties beneath a sailcloth tent. The property allows for endless ceremony and reception opportunities and plans. Guests can toast in the garden, meet Floyd, the farm’s friendly resident donkey, roam surrounding trails at sunset, or cozy up with loved ones by the fire pit beneath the stars. A private, on-site bridal suite offers pre-event as well as overnight accommodations for close family and friends.

Old World Elegance: Fort Adams
Step back in time at Fort Adams in Newport, RI. Built in 1856, this National Historic Landmark evokes a feeling of old world charm mixed with coastal chic vibes. A one-of-a-kind venue nestled in Newport Harbor, the fortress boasts views of Narragansett Bay, unique stonework and vaulted archways and ceilings, offering an ideal setting for history buffs and those seeking an out-of-the-box locale. Fort Adams offers five indoor and outdoor spaces and couples have the option to host parts of their event throughout multiple sites: for example, a ceremony in the North Casemates, followed by a cocktail hour on the North Lawn, a tented reception on the Parade Field and sunset photos on the West Lawn. Harborside Hues & City Skyline Views: The New England Aquarium
Wishing an outdoor waterfront tented venue existed right in downtown Boston? Well, it does at the New England Aquarium! Nestled in historic Boston Harbor, the Aquarium offers a one-of-a-kind wedding experience, like waterfront and city skyline views, but most notably: the chance to dine with sea creatures. Who wouldn’t want to get a photo op with penguins and seals?! As a bonus, booking an event at the Aquarium supports the mission and efforts of the non-profit.
The Aquarium is able to host between 40-600 guests, depending on the type of event (full dinner reception or cocktail setting). Couples typically opt for a ceremony on the South Terrace, with their cocktail hour inside the Main Exhibit Gallery surrounded by marine life, followed by dinner and dancing in the Harbor Terrace Tent. Cuisine is provided by the Aquariums exclusive caterer, the Patina Restaurant Group, and menus include a variety of options—from upscale seafood and meat entrées, to southern-style fare, flavors of Provence and more.
