Holiday Rental Favorites
With the change of the seasons comes the ushering in of new color schemes featuring vibrant jewel tones, harvest hues, and high-contrast palettes like black and mixed metallics.
Linens are the perfect way to incorporate a distinct color palette throughout your event design. Among our favorite solid linens perfect for late fall are our Tweed Linens, available in a variety of tones, from autumnal tones like Pumpkin, Ginger and Moss, to jeweled hues like Ruby and Sapphire.
“Our velvet linens add the perfect amount of texture and richness to any event design,” says Senior Event Rental Consultant Hayley Besser. “The champagne linens are versatile enough to be used throughout the season and mix well with a patterned napkin.” Adds Event Rental Consultant Lauren Davey, “Velvet Forest Green is one of my absolute favorite linens for the fall and holiday season. It’s an amazing shade of green—great for those “darker” months—and the soft, velvety fabric adds such a cozy feel. Who doesn’t want all the cozy feels once it starts getting colder?!”

Similar to our Velvet Linen Collection, our Montana Suede Linens are popular for their heavy feel and soft texture. “I love pairing solid color linens with patterned napkins to add a pop to tabletops,” says Marketing Communications Specialist Colby Radomski. “One of my favorite combinations is our Charcoal Montana Suede Linen and Woven Birch Napkins. Accent with evergreen florals and you've got an elevated look perfect for a winter wonderland-theme.”
Plaids, of course, are a staple this time of year, loved for their classic and cozy aesthetic. “I love to pull on golds, ambers, and hints of colors that represent the changing foliage this time of year. This year I'd love to use Verona Flatware paired with the Sage Tartan Table Runner,” says Rachel Lynn of Daylynn Designs. “I always love to combine ultra-mod with something classic, and I think the hint of sage in the Tartan Table Runner gives you all the more permission to mix things up a bit!” Featuring a variety of colors in its pattern, our Plaid Stewart Dress Linen is the perfect table topper for holiday. Use as a runner or full cloth, or use as napkins atop a solid linen, like our Montana Suede Lipstick linen.
For a modern feel, our Metropolitan Linens in Red, Champagne and Gold feature clean lines and metallic accents.
Accent your table with eye-catching décor like colored glassware and statement flatware. For a pop of color try our Fenton Goblets in Amber or Green, or our Smoke Stemware for a moodier feel. Incorporate gilded accents by way of Gold or Platinum Rim Charlotte Stemware. “I love our Luster Stemware,” says Event Rental Consultant Molly Halsey. “It's fun and flirty, perfect for the holiday season or a toast on New Year's Eve.” You can also weave in metallic details in your flatware. Our new Verona Flatware, available in White or Black, for example, adds a luxe, modern feel to any setting. “Our Tortoise Flatware is thick and has a great weight,” says Hayley Besser. “These are a great statement piece that can be paired with simpler rentals or more ornate pieces for an all-out feel.”
At larger events, consider adding a lounge area. Not only does a lounge provide additional seating options, it creates another design element. “Our Indigo Sofa as well as our Jewel Sofas (available in Emerald and Sapphire) are classy and refined while still being comfortable. Both feature modern silhouettes and visually elevate any space they’re placed in,” says Molly Halsey. Our Thalia Sofa and White Shelter Couch offer a neutral yet versatile options, and works with any of our pillow packages, like our new Elements or Metallic pillow packages. Complement your lounge space with statement accent décor. Our Existential Coffee and Side Tables as well as our Lippa Coffee Table add a Mid-Century Modern feel. For a more rustic feel, try our Sequoia or Acadia Coffee Table paired with our Scarab Side Table.

Holiday Hosting Tips
From setting the perfect tabletop to serving up food in style, here are some tips to make your holiday event a little more manageable and a lot more beautiful.
1. Plan Your Menu + Serve Food in Style
“One of my favorite parts of hosting is thinking about the menu and the fun ways we can use the meal to bring us closer together,” says Rachel Lynn of Daylynn Designs. “When people have full hearts and can enjoy the spread you put out, you know that you've done an excellent job focusing on the parts that ensure people feel considered!” Whether you're cooking a multi-course meal or getting your dinner catered, consider your presentation. At PEAK, we offer a variety of catering essentials, from serving platters and bowls to chafing dishes, that can help make service more seamless. For a unique presentation, try mixing and matching your serving dishes and opt for more ornate plates from our china collections (think Heirloom China mixed with Tondo Chargers and Finezza Plates) for a unique look. Hosting a large party and want to create a memorable serving station? Use one of our bars in place of a banquet table for your buffet. Our Antique Mirror Bar and Ruffle Bars offer a modern and stylish option for presenting food or drinks and incorporating an extra design element.
Want to keep things simple when it comes to your food? Outsource! A number of our catering partners like Saltbox Catering and Forklift Catering are offering pre-cooked meals to make your holiday hosting a breeze.
2. Choose a Theme
Get into theme when it comes to your holiday party! Says Sara Kovel of Sara Kovel Events, "Recreate a Ski Lodge and ask friends to wear their best Apres ski outfits. Sit down for dinner at a table adorned with Plaid Stewart Dress Linens, Tondo Wood Chargers, Smoke Stemware and Antique SS Flatware. Decorate your couches and soft seating with cozy fur throw blankets, the Stewart Plaid Pillow Package and a roaring fire. If you’re not afraid of a little cold weather, a fire-pit outside where you can roast marshmallows. Don’t forget the Scotch to keep everyone warm!"
