Styled to Inspire: Modern Meets Timeless at The Newbury Boston

Timeless elegance gets a modern twist in this stunning inspiration lead by a talented group of creatives. Beautifully blending old and new, this team was inspired by The Newbury Boston, the newly restored luxury hotel located at One Newbury Street. Originally the first Ritz Carlton in America, the revived landmark property features the iconic chandeliers and architecture from the original 1927 building. Playing off of the serene blue and green hues of The Newbury’s Garden Room, the styling brought the best of modern luxury wedding design to the historic setting. With breathtaking Oscar de la Renta and Amsale gowns, oversized florals, and effortlessly chic details, this inspiration is a showcase of impeccable taste and beauty in the heart of Boston.

Modern Sophistication

Designed by Renée Sabo of Urban Soirée, this styled editorial featured a thoughtful blend of timeless elegance and modern sophistication. “I was looking to bring a spring elegance to The Newbury’s modern spaces, with a fine art, romantic touch. The hotel’s history played a big role in inspiring us as well,” says Sabo. Keeping with a neutral color palette of white and green hues, Sabo chose to set our White Versa Mirrored Table centerstage in The Newbury’s Garden Room, surrounded by ultra-modern Mirage Clear Chairs. She juxtaposed the clean lines of the Versa Table with our textured Glass Pebble Charger set with a White Coupe Dining Plate, Charlotte Stemware and Classic Flatware. Jimmy Guzman of JNG Event Consulting enhanced the tablescape with stunning, tall floral installations featuring white cherry blossoms that were accented by vases of calla lillies, ranunculus and peonies.
